Van der Beijl

Van der Beijl in the uniform of a grenadier soldier: gray trousers with a red stripe, blue jacket with red cuffs and epaulettes and yellow bands on the chest, black hat with a red plume. Depicted full-length, almost frontal, slightly turned to the right, standing before shrubbery. He holds his left hand on the hilt of his sabre, which hangs from a broad white bandolier across his chest, while in his right hand he holds a cigar. Originally behind glass in a mahogany frame.
