About this work

Seal of brown wax, very irregular surface, with on one side a crowned coat of arms with three (French) lilies, carried by two (female?) figures; on the other side, a seated figure with two elongated objects (scepter and hand of justice?) in the hands, under a canopy, the curtains of which are held open by two figures (no longer distinguishable). Pink and green silk cords run through the seal.
