Tobacco wrapped in brown paper with French text on one side and Dutch text on the other; closure of blue-grey paper with red print 'Manuf. Impériale d'Amsterdam / Tabac à fumer, un Hectogramme', and black print (illegible) in a red printed cartouche. Marked; front and back: Eagle on a bundle of arrows under a crown. Inscription. Front: IMPERIAL TOBACCO FACTORY IN AMSTERDAM. Smoking Tobacco. Pure Varinas. First Quality. One hectogram. Back: same in French.
