Arrival at Schiphol on 8 August of a group of conference participants. Mohammed Roem, Herman van Roijen, and H. Merle Cochran, the American representative of the United Nations Commission for Indonesia (UNCI), pose at the foot of the stairs of the KLM aircraft. Photo in the photograph album with 37 photos of the Round Table Conference held between 23 August and 2 November 1949 in The Hague between representatives of the Netherlands, the Republic of Indonesia, and the Federal Consultative Assembly. The copy presented to Prime Minister Willem Drees.
