About this work

Copper plate with the portrait of a man in a rectangularly cut oval of laurel leaves. In the lower center a coat of arms (Speelman) with inscriptions on either side. Speelman is depicted frontally in armor, wearing a triple chain with a medal showing a triumphator, a lace jabot and has long curly hair. Text 'victoria Cornelis Speelman' in mirror image.
