About this work

Sword with a twisted wooden grip of later date, a browned conical pommel and a slightly downward-curved quillon. On the broad, double-edged, straight blade in the fuller the year 1662 and a black mark with the coat of arms of Haarlem (standing sword with four stars on each side). At the bottom of the fuller a white mark with a coat of arms with a vertical bar with two stars on each side.
