About this work

Flintlock rifle for signaling. It has no barrel: the lock is equipped with a groove for powder that leads to a pan at the end, where a pyrotechnic fire must be ignited. The groove and lock are covered with a wooden lid, which can be lifted by rotating a bolt at the lock. The lock and lid are decorated with elegant carving of foliage.
