About this work

Deane-Adams revolver, six-shot percussion, with accessories in a case. The revolver is of blued steel with an octagonal barrel and sparse decoration. The cartridges must be loaded into the front of the cylinder, where they are rammed into place by a lever along the barrel using a rammer. The percussion caps are placed on the nipples at the rear of the cylinder. The box contains a scraper, a pair of pliers for bullets, a cartridge mold for making paper cartridges, a powder horn, a grease pot, and a leather pouch with percussion caps.
