About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: woman with a sickle and sheaves of wheat and rye under her left arm, representing the Netherlands, watches Neptune flee on his sea chariot with an oar in his raised left hand; in the background the Leeghwater mill; lower edge: signature. Reverse: inscription. The medal is marked with the Mercurius staff of the Rijksmunt.
