About this work
Rectangular copper gunpowder box with two handles and a round brass lid. The inside is tinned. The lid is provided with a screw lock, consisting of a brass rod that rotates around a bolt in the middle of the lid and clamps under two lugs on the outer edge of the opening; with the bolt it is then tightened.
