Model of an Ironclad Ram Ship

Polychromed and gilded block model of a ram ship, the keel plank is missing. It bears the Dutch coat of arms on the stern and gilded carving on the bow. The model has a flat deck; it features a ram bow, round stern, rudder with a rounded blade, and two two-bladed propellers. The steering wheel is located entirely at the rear on the main deck; no superstructures are built on the deck except for some cabins and gangways, the gun turret with two cannons and a bridge between the turret and the funnel. The railing is double for cage defense. The model has five boats in davits. The bow is completely flat, the hull is a round-frame construction. The model has a two-masted rig with three-masted masts of the Cole system; standing and running rigging without sails.
