About this work
Model of a foremast, rounded at the front. The construction of this mast differs from other masts: all beams and floor parts are of the same thickness and consist of two planks placed on top of each other. The result is a mast of equal thickness and assembled with simple half-lap joints. The masthead is thicker and reinforced with brass plates.
