Model of a figurehead of Michiel de Ruyter with a backing plate for a galley. The figurehead is a male bust, arms cut off at the elbows, representing the Dutch Lieutenant-Admiral-General Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter. The backing plate is decorated with carving.
