About this work
Polychromed model (port side) on a small backing board. The planking above the cap rail is closed. Twenty-five gunports on two decks; forecastle deck and upper deck indicated by gunports. The figurehead is a crowned lion. Twisted stern, hollow false keel, stern gallery and side gallery of two tiers, with gilded carving of armorial trophies and foliage. Below the stern gallery an empty rectangular cartouche. Straight rudder with square rudder post in a large round hawsehole with decorated rim. Bow rising aft, two cap rails and one keelson. Framed with round frames.
