About this work

Polychromed planked hull model (starboard side) of a three-master. Twelve gunports on one deck, gun deck and quarterdeck indicated by gilling. The figurehead is a female bust. Elliptical stern of one storey, side gallery of one storey, decorated with carving; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer's version). The model is equipped with all rigging with juffer blocks. Flat stem, one bark timber and one ree timber. Framed round-spant, fairly sharp underwater hull. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
