About this work

Polychromed moulding model (starboard side) of a two-masted ship. Twisted stern, hollow false keel, no details of quarterdeck or side galleries; straight rudder with square rudder head. Keel rises towards the stern, one keelson. Slightly peaked round timber. It is unclear whether the inscription referring to the Galathe belongs to this model. Scale approx. 1:55 (derived).
