Half Model of an 18-Gun Brig

Polychrome wooden model (starboard side) of a two-master. Forecastle worked out with a figurehead and stem of a gilded scroll. The skin above the plank is closed, ten painted gunports on one deck. Wrought stern, hollow false keel, stern with one light and projecting outside the ship's side, no side gallery; straight rudder with square rudder post. Keel rising slightly forward and aft, one plank. The model has two rests with all juffer blocks. Planked round frame. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
