Half Model of a 14-Gun Brig

Polychromed half-model (starboard side) of a three-master. The planking above the wales is closed, with nine gunports on one deck. Elliptical transom of unusual shape in a frame with rounded forms, with one gunport, no side galleries; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer version) and rounded rudder blade. Sheer almost flat, one wale and one wainscot; the wale does not run around the stern but is interrupted by planking that rises to the transom. Framed with round spars. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
