Half Model of an 8-Gun Brig

Polychromed mould model (starboard) of a two-master. The planking above the wales is closed and the ship has a railing. Low round bowsprit, the stem rising to vertical. Twisted stern, hollow false keel, closed stern, no side gallery, no rudder; strongly falling sternpost. Sheer rising at both ends, very high stern, one wale and one sheer strake. Framed round; curved keel with rising ends. The main mast leans well back, the foremast stands almost vertical; the middle mizzen stays out above the stern and has a claw for the boom.
