About this work

Fully planked rib model (starboard). The hull is partially removed to show the interior arrangement. Three levels: on blocks lies the very low lower deck, on which two ovens are placed; half-deck and forecastle deck, on the forecastle deck a chimney and spit; upper deck. A gutter connects both ovens and has two branches to openings in the hull just below the lowermost oak plank. On the lower deck lie three unknown pear-shaped objects. Deck beams lie over the well. Round stern with a drop gate. The stem and sternpost curve forward and aft, with two oak planks and one elm plank. Round frame with a flat bottom. This model is practically identical to NG-MC-429.
