The large, double wheel of the gear mechanism is arranged lengthwise and has a large number of holes arranged in concentric circles for supports, on which the driving rope is wound. The cart is equipped with cranks that drive the gear mechanism. Depending on the type and dimensions of the rope to be made, a fixed number of turns per foot is given to the three hooks for twisting the strands in front of the frame. The wheels are made of brass; the front wheels can turn, steering is done with a crank with a worm gear on a steering quadrant on the front wheels.
