Model of a Floating Dry Dock

Model of a floating dry dock, on a baseboard. It consists of five parts, which are connected to each other. Each part is a rectangular box or pontoon with a tower at each end. On top of each tower four pumps are attached, which must pump the pontoon empty. The five parts are connected to each other by lattice work on the outside and walkways with railing connecting the towers. The model shows two types of pumps: double-acting pumps and pumps whose pump rods are connected to a drum, which is moved back and forth with levers. Outside, on the axle of these drums, on both sides, weights are attached to the levers.
