About this work
Seven models of lightning conductors or thunder chains for ships in the form of copper wire, all of rigging. Three consist of four cable-laid strands of three rigging strands of seven, six and five yarns respectively. The other four, all with a rope in the heart, consist of five cable-laid strands of seven yarns each, which differ in thickness.
