About this work

Model of a pump plunger for a square pump cylinder. It consists of two layers of leather clamped between wooden boards. The lower half is square; the upper half consists of two triangular valves, lined with copper on the inside. Between the valves is an iron bracket for attaching the pump rod or chain.
