About this work

Flintlock musket (wall musket) with battery lock; profile band at the chamber; elongated half-oval iron sight bead; no sight notch; mark stamped on the lower part of the barrel; flat lock plate and cock with beveled edges; concave underside of the lock plate; walnut French stock; brass band around the lock; four brass ramrod guides, the front one trumpet-shaped; wide round trigger guard; brass butt plate; iron ramrod with thicker front part; brass backplate of the lock, acolyte-shaped. In use from 1830.
