About this work
Wooden scale and two documents (NG-MC-853-2 & 3). The scale is a flat wooden slat with a number of scale divisions on one side and a number of tables and two noniuses on the other. This scale was intended to replace the ordinary street tables for solving navigation problems. The handwritten patent application is addressed to stadtholder Willem V and signed by Rasmus Dekker.
