Half Model of a 16-Gun Brig

Framed wooden model (starboard side) of a two-masted ship, incomplete. The planking above the barkwood is closed, with eight gunports on one deck. The figurehead is missing; the remaining silhouette reveals a standing figure. A twisted transom, hollow false keel, stern with three and a half lights and a scalloped upper edge; straight rudder with square rudder post. The sheer rises at both ends, with one barkwood. The underwater hull is a sharp V-shape. Rungs of the main and foremast (the latter missing). Scale 1:55 (derived).
