About this work

A red wax seal on a remnant of paper. Between the seal and the paper a flat white ribbon. The partially broken and incomplete seal shows, in a double oval border, a coat of arms: top left a chalice, bottom right three (stars?). Right: a (rooster?) going to the left. The shield is crowned by a helmet with a closed visor, above which stands a (rooster?) turned to the left. Around the shield drapery. On the back of the seal the text general(?) Chassé? is written. The seal lies in a white box with the text Roosdorp 4. Wax seal with sash Baron D.H. Chassé.
