About this work

Metal cross 1830-1831 with four bronze arms. On the obverse a crowned W surrounded on the left by oak leaves and on the right by laurel leaves, which overlap beneath the crowned W. On the reverse of the cross, an inscription on each arm: on the top TROUW AAN, on the right KONING, on the bottom EN, and on the left VADERLAND. Centrally in the cross the date 1830-1831. At the top a ring to which the blue-yellow ribbon with three vertical stripes is attached.
