About this work

Rectangular silver medal, single-sided. Obverse: between two columns, a medallion with a bust of a man within an inscription; below, a half-naked woman leaning her head on her left hand and holding a rolled-up paper with a seal in her right hand, seated on a throne; to the left, an inkstand with a quill, in front of which lies a small bottle; to the right, an oil lamp; behind the chair, a ribbon with an inscription runs through; on the ground, to the left, an open book with an inscription, and to the right, a tablet depicting a hand above crossed scales and a sword. Reverse: blank.
