About this work

Silver cast medal on the occasion of a marriage. Obverse: a courting couple with inscription: MIJN LIEF ONTFANGT MIJN BRANDEND HERT, DAT U OP TROU GEGEVEN WERT. On the other side a mother surrounded by children with inscription: DE BESTE VRUCHT DIE 'T HUWLICK BAART, ZIJN KINDEREN VROOM EN GOET V AART.
