Beechwood model with palmwood screws, showing how blowholes (air pockets formed during the casting of iron) can be plugged in cannons. Probably belonging to documents in the National Archives, concerning the plugging of blowholes in cannons cast by the ordnance founder Jan Verbruggen in The Hague.
