Fossilized fish tooth with fossilized bone, very likely a lateral tooth from the left upper jaw of a Cosmopolitodus Hastalis, an extinct shark species that was very common in the Miocene and early Pliocene. (Determined by Lex Kattenwinkel, collector of fossil shark teeth, based on photo, October 2010).
