About this work
Drawn-out barrel, breech-loading system. Cannon barrel with a top piece, each approximately 45 degrees off-center, two handles. The handles are shaped like a helmeted male bust. The cannon is a breech-loader via a screw-out grape (tail screw). Signed: top of barrel, front. Marked: top of barrel, rear: Saxon coat of arms. Note: See inv. no. NG-NM-7476-b.
