Carrying strap with a pair belonging to the French hunting costume of Prince Alexander

Belt of gold braid with a band of silver braid in the center and five holes for adjustment. Oval fire-gilt buckle with a tongue. On the reverse side, a lip and hook in the same metal. On the lip, number 8128. On the front of the oval buckle, a label with text: Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam and object cleaning data. Fabric belt with fire-gilt oval buckle with tongue and attached to it a carrier, for the dagger (early 19th century?). On the front, two sliding passants of the same (but narrower) braid. On the left side, a V-shaped carrier of the same braid with a red velvet-lined sheath. A buttonhole is cut into the braid. At this point, an extra piece of braid is also attached, presumably for inserting a thrust weapon. The inside of the belt is of red velvet. The holes for adjustment are edged with yellow metal eyelets.
