About this work
Chalice glass with conical bowl on a slender solid baluster-shaped stem. A disc between bowl and stem and a ball between the stem and the slightly rising foot. On the bowl in wheel-cut work a double warehouse where barrels are hoisted; on the quay bales and barrels; on the other side a moored frigate, flag and pennant in different directions. Clear glass. Inscription: on the rim of the bowl: DE GOEDE NEGOOTIE.
