About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: in the center of a round temple, a pedestal with a bust of William III, flanked by two genii with shields holding a victory branch above the bust; in the background between the columns of the temple, four statues with four busts in front of them. Reverse: Victory with a trumpet and Fame with a laurel wreath and naval trophies hold a table on which Historia and Time write the names of the French ships that were lost, above them a genius with palm and laurel branches; in the background a naval battle; rim inscription.
