About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: bust of a man within a legend. Reverse: Louis XIV sitting on a chair under which a snake crawls, fishing with a rod to which a paper with the inscription PAX hangs on the Dutch, who are warned by Minerva. In the midst of the Dutch stands a man with a lily on the back of his jacket and snakes on his head, within a legend; section: inscription.
