About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: bust of a man with a bishop's mitre within an inscription. Reverse: crowned lion with a sword and bundle of arrows, and a lying lamb with forepaws on a book; in the background a papal court, from which a lightning bolt attempts to strike the lamb, but is thwarted by a second lightning bolt from the clouds within an inscription; section: year.
