Silver medal. Obverse: Philip V fleeing on horseback, while his crown falls from his head; in the background the city of Barcelona, above it an angel darkens the sun using an Austrian coat of arms within an inscription; incuse: inscription. Reverse: various cities, in the guise of supplicant women, handing their keys to the Duke of Marlborough, who rides over defeated enemies on horseback with a marshal's baton in hand within an inscription; incuse: inscription.
