About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: Holland, depicted as a woman with a liberty cap on a spear and a caduceus, sitting in the Dutch garden among merchant goods, next to her a lion with a bundle of arrows and a Bible on an altar within an inscription. Reverse: radiant sun within a snake ring, entwined by flowers and fruits within an inscription.
