About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: Maria Theresa with a scepter in hand sits on a throne; beside her, Justice with a sword and scales, and a woman with a child on her arm and a child by the hand; before her, her husband in military attire, pointing with one hand to a city in the background and with the other to a man behind him wearing a turban, who raises one arm to heaven and places the other on his chest under a banner with an inscription; incuse: inscription. Reverse: the Temple in Jerusalem, where a sacrifice is performed in the open square in front; on either side, three-story colonnades to which four crowned coats of arms are attached under an inscription interrupted by a crowned coat of arms; incuse: inscription.
