About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: bust of a man and woman with a diadem within an inscription. Reverse: The House of Orange, depicted as kneeling Pallas with shield and spear lying on the ground, and the Netherlands, depicted as Belona with liberty cap on spear and shield, receiving with open arms the newborn prince, carried by an angel descending on clouds and illuminated by the sun within an inscription; base: inscription.
