About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: under a tree, in which a shield with an inscription hangs and whose trunk is entwined with a ribbon with an inscription, a woman sits; next to her stands against the tree an inverted cornucopia, from which grain, grapes, money, and a torch roll; in the foreground a child lies on the ground, covered by a woman with a veil; on the right two weeping children illuminated by an all-seeing eye in a radiant triangle within an inscription; lower edge: inscription.
