About this work

Silver suspension badge with garland and bow. Obverse: busts of a man and a woman within legend. Reverse: burning altar, entwined with vine, against which to the left a rudder and command staff stand and to the right the shield of Medusa; above them two genii each holding a burning heart in one hand, the left one with laurel wreath and the right one with crown in the other hand within legend; section: inscription.
