About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: bust of a man within an inscription. Reverse: winged Victory with a palm branch and laurel wreath in her hands, standing on a pedestal against which an armorial trophy is attached, built up from military equipment and shields, decorated with lightning bolts, with an owl perched on top; on the lower part of the pedestal, an inscription within an inscription.
