About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: helmeted Minerva with a spear in her left hand and accompanied by an owl, holding in her outstretched right hand a paper [?], on which a hat lies and a medal on a chain; below an empty cartouche within an inscription. Reverse: lion with drawn sword and crowned shield in hands above a cartouche with inscription within an inscription.
