Bronze medal. Obverse: Crowned shield before liberty cap on spear, next to inscription, above banner with inscription within two-line legend. Reverse: Soldier with flag and drawn sword chases away a woman, who holds a sword in hand and drops a yoke; in the background tower and ship within legend; edge: inscription.
