Silver medal. Obverse: bust of a man within a two-line inscription. Reverse: in an enclosed garden, illuminated by heavenly light, Liberty, depicted as a woman with an open Bible on her lap and a liberty cap on the point of a sword; on either side a lion with drawn sword above a crowned coat of arms.
