About this work

Lead medal. Obverse: bust of a man within an inscription. Reverse: ship in a heavy storm, with a snake around the middle mast, and an eagle with a laurel branch in its beak sitting on top, and a globe with a pyramid standing on a pedestal on the bow within an inscription.
